I'd like help with this article, it's a subject I found hard to maintain NPOV on, thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pakaran (talkcontribs)

Trimming article

[edit]

I have made some fairly substantial edits to the article, which was growing large with philanthropic bloat between Engelstad himself and the foundation that bears his name. I trimmed all of these substantially, in line with WP:NOTPROMO. I have also re-arranged the article so that the material related to his life is at the top and the philanthropic material is grouped together as is was previously split. In the philanthropy section, I have kept all of the namesakes but moved it to a subsection. I do wonder if the controversies should be merged into one section and each of the issues (alleged Nazi-sympathies and UND naming) as a subsection. Ip208man (talk) 22:08, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
