SAS components

[edit]

The list of "SAS components" is a bit misleading and random since some of the components are modules of SAS Base while others are separate client applications. The article in general needs a more structured approach that makes a distrinction between 1. SAS as a company / developer 2. SAS as the core software ("SAS Base") 3. Different SAS solutions that are sometimes just client applications which make working with SAS Base easier (Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio...) and sometimes different server applications that complement SAS Base in a server environment.
