Quality of Article

[edit]

I have added NPOV as this is the most biased article i have ever read - Betram

Is it me, or is this article absolutely cringeworthy? --taras 05:42, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You tell me! I wrote virtually all of it, pretty much scavenged from what they say about themselves and all their fansites. I stand by all the facts I wrote down though! What parts in particular do you reckon are cringeworthy? The article's lookin' a bit empty, maybe we could make it half-decent sometime. Dragonfly888 18:51, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
i'm sorry, but you're right, it is terrible. told me a few things i didn't know though, so it can't be too bad. - 3596.56.75.75.7575.753.75.75

It could do with a more formal register and less exclamation marks. Also the layout could be improved ten-fold. The table of contents doesn't appear until near the end of the article. Some good information though, just needs some refining.

I have removed a swathe of opinionated and unsourced material from the article, which is still a long way short of sufficient reliable sources. Can future editors please follow Wikipedia guidelines for editing, and leave the adulatory fancruft to other places. Please remember Wikipedia:Verifiability and note Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Thanks,

I turned all used of "[spunge]" back to "Spunge". Please take a look at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (trademarks).--SeizureDog (talk) 20:01, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Manic Street Preachers were lined up to support them on an American tour, but had to cancel when Richey Edwards went missing the day before

[edit]

I am deleting the above statement as it is absolute bollocks. Spunge only formed in 94 and only released their first ep in 1998 and Edwards went missing in 1995, and MSP were at that point already a far bigger band than [spunge] ever became. There is no way this is true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rickwitter (talkcontribs) 22:57, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
