This article should not have been nominated for GAR as it is nowhere near ready. There is no lead as such because we are straight into narrative from the beginning and what passes for a lead section is not an introduction or a summary but, in effect, chapter one complete with citations. The lead must act as a summary of the narrative to follow and should not contain citations. Sourced statements belong in the main narrative.

I am failing this because it is a long way from meeting both GACR #1b (re MOS:LEAD) and GACR #3 (breadth of coverage). I'm also dubious about GACR #5 in that I'm unconvinced about the article's stability.

The nomination has been raised far too soon. A lot of work is needed before it will be anywhere near ready and this GAN fails. No Great Shaker (talk) 20:47, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Footfalls"?

[edit]
However, the market share of Kannada movies in the gross domestic box office collections declined to 2% in 2023, with the footfalls dropping from 8.1 to 3.2 crores in 2022.

"Footfalls"? Is that an actual thing, or is it an artsy-craftsy metaphor for ambulatory customers? – AndyFielding (talk) 09:20, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
