  • I hope you guys don't mind the article is listed in "cleanup" category. --*drew 08:11, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • I would be very interested in assisting in editing this page. Given the "cleanup" notice, however, I would like a chance to discuss the best way to do this. --Daniel 22:26, May 23, 2005 (UTC)
Be Bold Daniel. Start editing it, if you like. ant_ie 13:07, 28 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

What else is needed before removing the cleanup tag? Wesley 20:26, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Remove it, it's fine but if anybody had the time, it could be expanded upon. Information on Indonesia seems to mainly avaible off line. At least this article contains a lot of soild information.ant_ie 23:39, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Important notice

[edit]

The government section of the "Outline of Indonesia" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.

When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.

Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact The Transhumanist .

Thank you.

Improving the page

[edit]

To improve this Wikipedia page, I will edit mainly on three sections. The executive branch, the legislative branch, and political parties and elections. In the executive branch section, I will follow the 1945 Constitution to elaborate on this section by adding what the responsibility, entitlement and the extent of power that the executives have. I particularly think that this section is extremely lacking in full information and elaboration. Furthermore, I will add to the executive election system prior to 2004 and after that. I will further elaborate on this in the political parties and elections section. Lastly, I will completely add the system of presidential impeachment. In the legislative branch section, I will elaborate more on three things. First is the People’s Consultative Assembly/MPR as a whole. I plan to conceptualize Indonesia’s type of legislative system, which is bicameral and what composed it. Second is that I will introduce the lower chamber of the legislative system, the People’s Representative Council/DPR. I will not only introduce but also elaborate on its functions and limitations of power. The third is introducing the Regional Representative Council/DPD and also their functions and limitations of power. Lastly, in the political parties and elections section, I will add mainly three things, the General Election Commission/KPU, the requirements to vote and the multiparty system of Indonesia. I plan to also add the emergence of democratically direct elections and a multi-party system in Indonesia to give the readers a deeper understanding. I hope that all of my edits will remain coherent with the previous ones and create a complete understanding of the democratic separation of power between the branches.
