Gavin Hassett (born July 13, 1973 in Saint John, New Brunswick) is a Canadian rower. He began rowing in 1989. A three time Olympian, he won the silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in the Men's Lightweight Coxless Fours event, alongside Jeffrey Lay, Dave Boyes and Brian Peaker. He also claimed a bronze medal at the 2002 World Rowing Championships in Seville, Spain in the same event.
