Game

[edit]

"Apollo 18" was also the name of a Commodore 64 computer game. I believe it was from Accolade. It played out an entire Apollo mission, but due to limitations of the system it probably wasn't very accurate.

I've noted it in the disambiguation page but further details would be appreciated. - Dravecky (talk) 01:56, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Canceled Apollo Missions

[edit]

I don't see where in the MOS:DAB it says we should pipe this entry. We can say the same thing without piping. The two options are

Without piping

With piping

I do not see an improvement with the piping. GB fan please review my editing 11:26, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The first phrasing essentially says "Apollo 18 is an installment of Apollo" while the second phrasing says "Apollo 18 is a lunar mission". To you it may be obvious that Apollo is a lunar program, but others may not understand that, and the second phrasing is clearer and more substantive.
That being said, I really doubt that you would be so vehement about it if you weren't trying to recover from your first totally botched edit and your second edit in the name of guidelines that you were wrong about, by pretending that your phrasing is an improvement. But I'm done caring, I have better things to waste time on. Theoldsparkle (talk) 15:54, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am done caring too, if someone else comes along I thought it was best to document what was happening here. I will never revert to what I think is right again. GB fan please review my editing 17:16, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I do admit that my initial edit was wrong, everyone makes mistakes and I also admit that I misread what you did in one of your edits. I missed the move up of the band. I apologize for misinterpreting what you did. GB fan please review my editing 17:20, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
