[edit]

The naming convention is to have "List of" preceded articles that are primarily lists. --mav I have "List of" for all the head lists, e.g. List of botanical gardens"; all my sublists are called "Bot. G. in England" etc. Renata 11:19 Dec 7, 2002 (UTC)

Well a list should still be called a list but this isn't something I'm going to push because I don't want to be petty. Do what you think is best for Wikipedia. --mav
Hope I wasn't too quick to move this page, I only read this afterwards. Please feel free to put it back where it was. Docu

These were introduced in 2005 by @Velella:, but are nonstandard and should be defined... but as everyone has left them for 18 years I thought I'd check here before spending time delinking them all. PamD 07:31, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Eighteen years was a very long time ago! If the headings are inconsistent with today's heading I am content for them to be amended. I was quite new to Wikipedia then and was still working to earn my crust of bread so probably didn't have time to check out the details of the rules in place at that time!  Velella  Velella Talk   22:33, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
