[edit]

Awesome job with converting the page! Very nice work indeed. --lightdarkness (talk) 23:12, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, thanks. I just spent a fair few hours on it, and only just pushed it live. CraigF 23:14, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

Hey. Thanks for the work you've done on Scrubs. When you upload images, you need to provide teh source on the image description page, along with a fair use rationale. I have done Image:My Choosiest Choice of All.jpg as an example. Cheers. The JPStalk to me 23:40, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Coming Home.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Coming Home.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 19:04, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Winamp

[edit]

Hi! I saw you've worked extensively on the article about Winamp, so maybe you can answer my question: .wmv files don't run smoothly on my winamp. This has occurred since I swapped WMP for the other multimedia player, although I have all the minimum system requirements. Could you tell me what the cause of this is? Thank you! --Daĉjoпочта 09:51, 21 January 2007 (UTC) [I'm preparing for an exam, so you'd be very helpful if you corrected my English mistakes in order to make my writing sound more natural! thanks again for your patience]

For reference, this message went ignored because I do not answer direct questions for Winamp support. The Winamp Forums are the best place to ask for support due to their peer nature. Should your problems be unique enough that a search would not bring up a previous response, it will aid future users with a similar problem. CraigF (talk)

Image tagging for Image:My_Mentor.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:My_Mentor.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
