Citations

[edit]

Not enough in-line citations in this one in my opinion. The level of detail is good and large areas of the article are fine, but the "Movements" and "Arrangements" sections are definitely lacking. TheOneArmedBandit (talk) 06:01, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notable recordings.

[edit]

It's beyond my expertise, but it seems like the article should have a section on notable recordings of the work. This should include the two recordings that have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Vladimir Horowitz's 1947 recording for RCA, and the 1951 recording by Rafael Kubelík, conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, for Mercury. PatConolly (talk) 06:10, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kyiv

[edit]

I am curious, would it be good to change some references to Kiev as Kyiv, as that is the more accepted Ukrainian spelling, especially after recent events? Or would that be unfaithful to the original title which is in Russian? Ajlee2006 (talk) 15:26, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think recordings and literature on Pictures uses "Kiev", so Wikipedia should, too. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 00:34, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
