Hinduism[edit]

I believe that the idea of an Akashic Record and the name Akashic comes from Hinduism but I see no acknowledgement of this.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.87.103.224 (talk) 20:03, 24 September 2017‎ (UTC)[reply]

"Non-physical" plus "encoded vibrationally"[edit]

Only physical entities can vibrate. "Non-physical" necessarily means, among other things, "permanently free from vibrations". TooManyFingers (talk) 19:51, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That vibrational bullshit was added by a WP:SPA last month. I deleted it. --Hob Gadling (talk) 07:17, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I guess I admire your restraint in deleting one selected particle of bullshit (perhaps it came from the wrong bull?) while preserving the rest. It's difficult IMO to not correct such articles to say "X is a fictional entity in the Y entertainment franchise ..." TooManyFingers (talk) 07:48, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You complained about one sentence, I deleted that sentence. I did not know you had other problems because you only mentioned that one.
Yes, the whole concept is bologna. But it is notable bologna promoted by well-known bullshit artists, while the "vibration" thing was unsourced. --Hob Gadling (talk) 09:59, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
