Winograd's take on it
[edit]From his page (linked at the bottom of the article) it doesn't seem like he's "distnaced himself" from SHRDLU. Also, he links to a Wikiverse copy of our article on SHRDLU, not ours. Wikiverse is really getting to be a problem. JesseW 09:20, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Images
[edit]Anyone have an image of the blocks world for this article? Perhaps something like the first few images found by a GIS. — Loadmaster 21:21, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Upper Case Dialog
[edit]Personally, I rather like the uppercase, fixed font dialog. It reminds us that this was printed out on mechanical teleprinters. Will change later if people do not object. Tuntable (talk) 01:20, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
Link to a recent replication of SHRDLU?
[edit]Hi,
I have been working on a rule-based natural language engine, and as a test case I worked 4 years on a replication of the historical SHRDLU dialog, in this Go-based system. I plan to continue to improve the system. Can I interest you to place a reference to this demo and project in the external links?
